The Xinjiang Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ), the first in China's northwestern border regions, officially started operations on Wednesday. An unveiling ceremony for the FTZ was held in Urumqi, the regional capital city.

據(jù)介紹，未來，新疆將立足資源稟賦、區(qū)位優(yōu)勢和產(chǎn)業(yè)基礎(chǔ)，高標準高質(zhì)量推進中國（新疆）自由貿(mào)易試驗區(qū)建設(shè)，將其打造成思想解放先行區(qū)、制度創(chuàng)新試驗田、產(chǎn)業(yè)集聚增長極、擴大開放新高地、營商環(huán)境樣板區(qū)，經(jīng)過3至5年改革探索，把中國（新疆）自由貿(mào)易試驗區(qū)建設(shè)成為營商環(huán)境優(yōu)良、投資貿(mào)易便利、優(yōu)勢產(chǎn)業(yè)聚集、要素資源共享、管理協(xié)同高效、輻射帶動作用突出的高標準高質(zhì)量自由貿(mào)易園區(qū)，為新疆融入國內(nèi)國際雙循環(huán)，服務(wù)“一帶一路”核心區(qū)建設(shè)，助力創(chuàng)建亞歐黃金通道和我國向西開放橋頭堡作出積極貢獻。
